Gregory Canyon landfill hearing delayed

SAN DIEGO ---- A hearing that had been scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday on the appeal of a permit application for the proposed Gregory Canyon landfill has been delayed.
A new date has not yet been announced.
The appeal was filed by the Pala Band of Mission Indians, who challenged whether developer Gregory Canyon Ltd. had adequately completed an application seeking an operating permit for the proposed landfill. The San Diego County Solid Waste Hearing Panel had been scheduled to hear the appeal.
